What it does.
A coordinator creates a volunteer activity in Slack with one command: a job, its shifts, and how many people each shift needs. Volunteers sign up with a button, with no spreadsheet and no separate login. The coordinator sees who has signed up for what, and which shifts still need people, without chasing anyone down, and can nudge the channel about the open ones.
Why Slack.
Your volunteers are already there. VolunTree meets them in the place your organization already talks, instead of asking them to install something, make an account, or check one more inbox.
Who it's for.
Organizations that run volunteer events and already use Slack: schools, booster clubs, nonprofits, community groups. One coordinator or several, and volunteers need nothing but Slack.
VolunTree is in a closed beta. To ask about access: hello@joinvoluntree.com.
